Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 2026
By accessing or using Occulent's website, software, or consulting services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, downloading our software (SentinelShare, SentinelPass), or engaging our consulting team, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
2. Use of Services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of our software.
- Use the Services to transmit malware, illegal content, or any material that violates third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to bypass or compromise the security features or audit logs of the Services.
3. Data Sovereignty and Liability
Because Occulent employs a strict zero-knowledge encryption model, you are solely responsible for maintaining access to your encryption keys and Master Passwords. Occulent cannot recover encrypted data if keys are lost, and Occulent assumes no liability for data loss resulting from forgotten or misplaced credentials.
4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Enterprise tier customers are subject to the specific SLA outlined in their Master Services Agreement (MSA). Standard tier users are provided services on an "as-is" basis, though Occulent strives for 99.99% uptime across all cloud infrastructure.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
